Michael Allman has extensive experience in the field of business continuity and disaster recovery. Michael started their career in 1998 as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher at Clayton County Public Schools. In 1999, they joined Delta Air Lines as a Technical Specialist, where they played a role in the airport renewal initiative. Michael then moved to Intuit Inc. in the same year, initially working as a lead in system administration and database administration functions before becoming a Program Manager for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. At Intuit, they developed and implemented a BCP/DR program that complied with FFIEC standards.

In 2010, Allman joined First Data Corporation as a Director of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery. During their tenure, they developed policies, procedures, and standards for a global BCP/DR program, resulting in enhanced recoverability and compliance. Michael also led a global team, conducted business impact analyses, and managed incidents and recovery strategies.

In 2014, Allman joined Intercontinental Exchange as a Director of Business Continuity/IT & Lead Engineer. There, they spearheaded the development of a BCP/DR program that scaled sevenfold due to the company's expansion through acquisitions. Michael focused on building policies, standards, and repeatable procedures for global growth and compliance with regulators.

In 2019, Allman joined Citrix as a Director of Organizational Resilience. Michael built a program and team to address the company's business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident management needs. This involved conceptualizing, documenting, implementing, and testing all aspects of the program to ensure resiliency across the global enterprise.

Currently, Allman is the Director of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery at EverView, a role they assumed in 2022.

Michael Allman began their education in 1990 at Lithia Springs High School, where they obtained a B.A. in Science in 1994. Michael proceeded to Valdosta State University from 1995 to 1998, earning a Bachelor's degree in Science in Education. In 2004, they completed Management Training at Learning Tree Learning International. Later, in 2007, they attended the Disaster Recovery Institute and obtained their CBCP certification in Business Continuity. In 2014, they pursued further education at the Business Continuity Institute, earning the AFBCI designation in Business Continuity. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications in Incident Administration, Incident Operation, Mass Notification Message Sending, and Visual Command Operation in July 2022, all from Everbridge. In 2015, they attained the MBCI certification from the Business Continuity Institute (BCI).
