Fergal Keane has had a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Fergal started their career as a Manufacturing Engineer at The EI company, where they supported the production of electronic components and PCBs. Fergal then moved to Atari Ireland Ltd as a Process Engineer, where they supervised a production line and worked on high-volume consumer electronic products. Fergal later joined Atari Ireland as a Manufacturing Engineer, where they focused on manufacturing engineering in a high-volume operation.
In 1985, Fergal joined Digital Equipment Corporation, initially as a Production Manager and later as a Production and New Products Introductions Manager. Fergal managed software order fulfillment and led a team for new product introductions. Fergal also contributed to implementing a just-in-time manufacturing process.
Following their time at Digital Equipment Corporation, Fergal took on various roles at Informix Software, including International Operations Manager, Director of International Operations, and General Manager. Fergal was responsible for managing the Informix Shared Service Centre for Europe and working on projects such as the replacement of corporate finance systems with SAP financials. Fergal also played a role in the transfer of manufacturing and warehousing activities from London to Dublin and achieved ISO9002 certification.
In 2001, Fergal joined IBM as an Integrations Program Manager, overseeing integration projects. Fergal then became self-employed as an Executive Coach, offering business and executive coaching services to both executives and business owners.
In 2016, Fergal joined ActionCOACH Business Coaching Ireland as a Business System Manager, managing business systems and processes. Fergal then moved to Lets Operate in 2018 as a Data Protection Specialist, focusing on data protection.
Most recently, Fergal became the Chief Operations Officer at EVERYANGLE in 2019, overseeing operations for the company.
Fergal Keane pursued their education at Trinity College Dublin from 1975 to 1979, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Bachelor in Engineering (BAI) degree in the field of Engineering. Later, in 1999 and 2000, they enrolled at Dublin Business School and earned a certificate in Accounting and Finance (CdipAF).
