Noel Eckert has worked in various roles in the engineering and research fields since 2016. In 2021, they began working as a Data Engineer at EveryDay Labs. In 2019, they worked as a Building Supervisor at the University of Michigan Recreation Sports, where they managed the operations of the North Campus Recreation Building. In the same year, they also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they investigated the use of a Convolutional Neural Network for intergranular crack characterization. Additionally, they worked as a Metallurgical Engineer Intern at Rheinmetall Automotive in 2019, where they performed failure analysis, run parts analysis, and non-destructive testing. In 2018, they worked as a Research Assistant at Argonne National Laboratory, where they conducted an extensive literature search of academic journals, forecast reports, and online databases. In the same year, they also worked as a Co-Op Student and Summer Intern at Argonne National Laboratory, where they assisted in projects pertaining to blowout prevention systems in the oil-drilling industry and developed Technical Economic Analysis models for projects pertaining to energy economics.

Noel Eckert attended Joliet Junior College from 2015 to 2017, where they earned an Associate of Science in Engineering. Noel then went on to attend the University of Michigan from 2017 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering.
