Chip Russell has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Chip most recently worked as the Senior Director of Strategic Finance at EVgo starting in September 2023. Prior to that, they were the Managing Partner at Massif Capital from January 2018 to September 2023. Chip also worked as a Director at Eos Energy Storage from February 2016 to January 2018. Chip spent some time as a Stanback Fellow at RMI in 2015. Before that, they worked as a Senior Research Analyst at The Brattle Group from May 2011 to August 2014. Chip began their career as a Consultant at IBM's Global Business Services from June 2009 to May 2011.
Chip Russell earned a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) in Energy Systems from Duke University in 2014-2016. Prior to that, Chip completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Applied Economics at Bates College from 2005-2009. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained the FINRA Series 65 certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in 2018.
