Mac Vogelsang

Mac Vogelsang is a Senior Data Scientist at EVgo with a strong background in data science and software engineering. At EVgo, Mac has developed an interactive web tool for dynamic electric vehicle charging data, created models for estimating EV power curves, and built a Bayesian model for summarizing consumer reviews. Previously, Mac served as a Software Engineer at Salesforce, contributing to the unification of login experiences and developing a REST API for identity management. An early career as a researcher and instructor at Indiana University Bloomington involved programming studies in Cognitive Science and mentoring students in Java and object-oriented programming.
