Matthew Ness

Matthew Ness is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in governmental affairs, currently serving as the Director of Governmental Affairs at Cigna Healthcare and eviCore healthcare since June and May of 2012, respectively. At eviCore healthcare, a leader in specialty benefits management, Matthew oversees programs benefiting over 100 million lives nationwide. Prior to this, experience includes providing legal support at Bank of America in their Global Wealth and Investment Management sector, with responsibilities involving compliance and mutual fund registration. Earlier roles include an internship at Law Offices Elliott & Kearney and service as a Combat Infantryman and Team Leader in the US Army, where Matthew developed efficient tracking systems during deployments in Iraq. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from The American University of Paris.
