Ross Eison

Ross Eison has extensive experience in network security and engineering. Ross started their career in 2000 at the SC Department of Public Safety, where they maintained and monitored Checkpoint Firewall-1. Ross then moved on to the SC Department of Motor Vehicles in 2001, where they worked as an Information Resource Consultant I - Network Engineer and later as an Information Resource Consultant II - Network Security. In these roles, they configured, installed, and troubleshooted Cisco PIX Firewalls, among other responsibilities.

In 2006, Ross joined Palmetto Health as a Security Systems Administrator II - Network Security. Here, they installed, managed, and troubleshooted Cisco PIX Firewalls and other network security systems. Ross also managed and troubleshooted Cisco routers, switches, and WLAN controllers.

Since 2012, Ross has been working at eviCore healthcare as a Principal Engineer. In this role, they manage and implements network security systems such as Cisco ASAs, FirePower IPS, and WSA proxies. Ross collaborates with the network and cloud teams on security-related projects and provides advice to the IT Security team as needed.

Throughout their career, Ross has demonstrated strong technical skills and the ability to lead teams and projects.

Ross Eison earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Education from Winthrop University from 1991 to 1993. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued a degree in Computer Technology from Midlands Technical College. Ross Eison also holds additional certifications in CCNA Routing & Switching, CCNA Security, and CCNP Security from Cisco.
