John Rote

John Rote is an accomplished marketing executive with extensive experience in building and scaling high-performing marketing teams and programs. As the current CMO at Evident since 2025, Rote continues to lead go-to-market strategies while concurrently serving as a fractional CMO and advisor to various early-stage and growth-stage companies. Previously, Rote held significant roles at Atlassian, Bonobos, and Katalon, where skills in connecting marketing, product, and growth helped drive substantial revenue growth and build strong customer journeys. Rote holds a degree in Civil Engineering and Urban Studies from Stanford University, completed in 2005.
