Peter Hardman possesses extensive experience in scientific research and product development, particularly in the field of X-ray fluorescence (XRF) and surface science. Beginning a career at the University of Manchester, Peter conducted advanced research on metal oxides and developed a novel photoelectron diffraction apparatus. Peter transitioned to Bruker AXS as R&D Manager, leading a development team for the S2-Ranger product. Subsequently, Peter held chief scientist roles at Innov-X Systems and Olympus IMS, managing multiple development teams to enhance instrument performance and reliability. Currently, Peter serves as Chief Scientist for both Evident Scientific (XRF) and Evident Industrial (ANI), continuing to drive innovation in the industry. Peter earned a BSc and PhD in Chemistry from The University of Manchester.
