Ronna L. Chan

Ronna L. Chan has extensive experience in epidemiology and scientific affairs. Ronna L. is currently working as a Research Scientist (Associate Director-level) at PPD, where they serve as the Principal Investigator and Scientific Oversight for the design and implementation of non-interventional/observational studies in various therapeutic and disease areas. Prior to their current position, Ronna had similar roles at Evidera and the NC Department of Health and Human Services. Ronna L. also has experience as an Epidemiologist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and has held various research positions at the University, Medical College of Virginia, Wake Forest University, and the FDA.

Ronna L. Chan holds a Ph.D. in Epidemiology (Reproductive and Perinatal Epidemiology), Maternal and Child Health, Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ronna L. also has an M.P.H. in Epidemiology, Biostatistics from the Medical College of Virginia. In addition, Ronna L. Chan obtained a B.S. degree in Biology from Wake Forest University.
