Evimero focuses on solving this problem.

We combine systems biology, metaproteomics, and artificial intelligence to identify the microbial proteins that influence health, disease, and human performance. By understanding these functional biological signals, we can design targeted interventions to improve outcomes in infectious diseases, chronic illnesses, animal health, agriculture, and environmental systems.

Our platform enables the discovery of diagnostics and antibody-based solutions for infectious diseases, including pathogens responsible for traveler’s diarrhea such as human norovirus and enterotoxigenic E. coli (ETEC). At the same time, we are developing therapies targeting microbiome-driven inflammation and disorders linked to microbial dysfunction, including inflammatory bowel disease and Parkinson’s disease.

The same discovery engine also supports programs focused on human performance optimization, including improving resilience, operational readiness, recovery, immune function, and metabolic stability in soldiers, athletes, and other high-performance populations. By identifying microbial proteins that influence stress response, metabolism, and gut barrier integrity, Evimero aims to develop interventions that help maintain performance under demanding conditions.

Our platform also enables rapid point-of-care diagnostics that can identify pathogens, stratify patient risk, and guide therapeutic decision-making.
