Dan Fitzgerald

Dan Fitzgerald has over 15 years of work experience in software engineering and development. Dan is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Evisions Inc., where they are involved in full-stack development using technologies such as React, Redux, Java, and Spring. Dan is responsible for developing a product called IRIS, which helps institutions comply with government reporting requirements. Dan also has experience in micro-services development using Spring and Activiti BPM server.

Prior to their current role, Dan worked as a Software Architect at Verys, where they were involved in architecting and developing websites for YokohamaTire.com, YokohamaTruck.com, and YokohamaOTR.com.

Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at nMetric, CoreLogic, and Freedom Communications Inc., where they worked on various software development projects using technologies such as LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), Java, and XML.

Dan also has experience working as a Senior Web Application Developer at Verizon Wireless, where they developed a RIA application using Flex technology.

In addition, they have worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Primary Processing, Inc., where they designed and implemented a web application for credit reporting.

Dan has also held positions at First American Corp., Irvine Technology Corporation, and AMC Mortgage Services, where they worked as a Senior Web Applications Developer and Senior Programmer/Analyst, respectively.

Throughout their career, Dan has acquired expertise in various technologies and programming languages such as React, Redux, Java, Spring, JEST, Sinon, JUnit, Flex, JSON, JavaScript, Weblogic, LAMP stack, and XML.

Dan Fitzgerald obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from UC Irvine, completing the program from 1992 to 1996. In addition, they have obtained the certification of AWS Certified Developer - Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2019.
