JD Hysler

JD Hysler has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, JD Hysler is a Software Engineer III and Security/Compliance Team member at Evisions Inc., where they focus on developing and enhancing SaaS products for higher education institutions using AWS cloud technology. Prior to this, JD Hysler served as the Director of Information Services at Jacksonville University, where they were responsible for aligning technical strategies with institutional objectives and overseeing a multimillion-dollar Information System budget. They also held the role of Data Analyst at ValueOptions, Inc., where they contributed to the Federal Division supporting the DOD Tricare-South region. JD Hysler also has experience working as a Senior Manager in HRIS at Convergys and as an Interior Communications Electrician in the US Navy. Throughout their career, JD Hysler has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, system implementation, and ensuring data privacy and security.

JD Hysler obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Jacksonville University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1992, JD studied Business Administration at the University at Albany, SUNY. In 1984 to 1986, JD pursued a field of study in Liberal Arts at the University of North Florida. In terms of additional certifications, JD obtained various accreditations and certifications including AWS Learning: Data Protection & Disaster Recovery from Amazon Web Services (AWS), AWS Partner: Cloud Economics Accreditation, AWS Partner: Sales Accreditation (Business), AWS Partner: Accreditation (Business), AWS Partner: Accreditation (Technical), AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF), AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA), Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer (CDPSE) from ISACA, Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) from IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals, and Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from SHRM.
