Marcelo Ramos

Marcelo Ramos has been working in the software engineering industry since 2005. Marcelo began their career as a Night Auditor at Beaver Run Resort in 2005. In 2006, they were a Full Stack Developer at Sisnet S/A, where they developed a web ERP for landfills using C#, NUnit, ASP.NET, and PostgreSQL. From 2007 to 2009, they were an Engineering Manager and Full Stack Developer at Comprocard, where they led a team of 7 developers responsible for implementing, improving, and maintaining highly available systems and web applications related to all levels of the payment card industry. Marcelo also idealized and implemented a fleet management web application mixing the payment card with vehicle monitoring and GPS tracking. In 2018, they joined CuePath Innovation as a Senior Software Developer, where they stabilized the startup’s original web applications built with Express.js, AngularJS, and MongoDB and designed new web applications and the infrastructure to be scalable and cost-effective. In 2020, they were a Senior Software Developer at GEOTAB. Currently, they are an Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer (remote) at eVisit and a Software Developer (remote) at Resolver Inc.

Marcelo Ramos received their Engineer's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidade Federal do Espírito Santo in 2010. Marcelo then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas, which they completed in 2015, with a focus on Business Administration and Management, General.
