Amine Anoun

Co-Founder & CTO at Evisort

Amine Anoun is the Co-Founder and CTO at Evisort. Prior to Evisort, Amine was a Data Scientist at Uber where they developed heuristics and metrics to track and improve UberPOOL rider experience in New York. Amine also designed the walking algorithm to select smart pickups and dropoffs in Express POOL. In addition, Amine has evaluated the launch of Express POOL in U.S. cities through experimentation and monitoring.

Before Uber, Amine was a Graduate Research Assistant at MIT Sloan School of Management where they investigated adulteration in imported food to the U.S. based upon supply chain features from over 2 million global shipments over the past decade. Amine also provided the FDA with a framework to optimize border sampling policy in order to mitigate risk adulteration in food shipments entering the U.S.

Amine got their start as a Research Assistant - Modeling Brain Tumors and Optimizing Treatment Protocols at Inria.

Amine Anoun attended the Classes Préparatoires aux Grandes Écoles, where they studied mathematics, physics, and computer science. Amine then went on to study applied mathematics at CentraleSupélec, where they earned their Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science. Finally, they completed their education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they earned their Masters of Science in Operations Research Center.
