Leo Ping

Leo Ping has a diverse work experience spanning nearly two decades. Leo started their career as a Software Developer at OT&T Information Systems, Inc in 2001. Leo then moved on to BuyLowDrugs.com as a Software Developer, where they designed and developed an Online Prescription Sales Management System. In 2003, Leo joined Sage as a Software Engineer, where they developed enhancements for Simply Accounting and later played a key role in building SageOne, a Cloud accounting application. During their time at Sage, Leo also served as the Principal Software Engineer, leading the development of the payroll module and banking integration for SageOne. In 2014, they joined Galvanize as a Senior Software Engineer and eventually became the R&D Manager, responsible for leading the ACL Cloud team and establishing development processes and communication models for local and remote teams. Most recently, Leo became the Director of Engineering at Evisort in 2021. In this role, they are utilizing their expertise and leadership skills to drive the company's engineering initiatives.

Leo Ping earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, with a minor in Commerce, from The University of British Columbia in 2003. During their time at the university, they were on the Dean's Honour List. In 2019, they completed a Certificate in Management Essentials from the UBC Sauder School of Business. Leo Ping has also obtained certifications in Performance-Based Hiring from LinkedIn in October 2020, Coaching and Developing Employees from LinkedIn in September 2020, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in January 2011, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2019.
