Simone Schenkel

Simone Schenkel is a prominent figure in sustainable and energy-efficient home design, currently serving as a Technical Advisor for Evitat since January 2022 and as the Victorian Chapter Lead for the Australian Passive House Association since March 2020. As Co-Founder and Director of Gruen Architecture and Founder/Director of Grün Eco Design, Simone emphasizes affordable, energy-efficient, and healthy living environments. With a diverse background including positions as a Building Designer and Sustainability Consultant at Maxa Design and Brutal Art Design + Build, along with international experience from an architecture internship in Spain, Simone has contributed to a wide range of residential and commercial projects. Academic credentials include a Diplom Engineer in Architecture from HTW des Saarlandes and certifications in Passive House design and Nathers Assessment.
