Erez Nitzan

Erez Nitzan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in biotechnology and R&D. Currently serving as a Professional Evaluator at the Israel Innovation Authority and a Product Manager at Evogene, Erez is involved in evaluating innovative grant proposals and managing the development of advanced computational genetic tools. Previous roles include leading R&D initiatives at Emendo Biotherapeutics, focusing on RNA-based gene editing and immuno-oncology cell therapy, and holding the position of VP of R&D at Genetika+ where a stem-cell based IVD product was developed. Additional experience encompasses academic positions as a lecturer at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and roles at NovellusDx and the Weizmann Institute of Science. Erez holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Neurobiology from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
