Evogene

Roberto Olender has a diverse range of work experience in the field of pharmaceuticals and computational development. Roberto began their career in 1995 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. From there, they worked at Peptor as a Senior Scientist in Molecular Modeling from 1997 to 2002. In 2002, they joined Procognia as a Senior Scientist, and then moved on to EPIX Pharmaceuticals in 2007 as an Associate Director of Computational Development. In 2009, they co-founded HQL Pharmaceuticals and served as the CSO until 2016. Currently, Olender is working at Evogene as the Head of Algorithms, a position they have held since February 2020.
