Ronnie Cheung

Ronnie Cheung is an experienced professional in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries, currently serving as the Executive Director and Head of Technical CMC Affairs at Evolus since November 2019. Responsibilities include overseeing global manufacturing for the biological neurotoxin product, Jeuveau (Nuceiva), managing process improvements, CMC risk assessment, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Previously, Ronnie held positions at Xencor as Associate Director of CMC Operations, and at Avanir Pharmaceuticals as Senior Manager of Pharmaceutical Development, where extensive experience was gained in drug product development, technology transfer, and regulatory compliance. Ronnie's career also includes roles at Theravance, CooperVision, Gilead Sciences, and Biomedix, showcasing a diverse background in formulation development, analytical testing, and quality assurance, supported by advanced degrees in Materials and Organic Chemistry from UC San Diego and Chemistry from UC Davis.
