Matt Widdall

Matt Widdall is the Portfolio Director at BGF, specializing in growth capital investments into ambitious UK-based SMEs. They have over 12 years of experience leading new equity investments at BGF, following more than 15 years in the corporate finance and private equity markets. Currently, Matt serves as a Non-Executive Director for several companies, including Mission Mars, Speedy Freight, and Evolution Aqua Group. They previously held significant roles including Director of Acquisition Finance at Lloyds Banking Group and Director of Corporate Finance at Deloitte. Matt obtained a degree in Chemistry from The University of Sheffield.
