Janis Janusevskis

Janis Janusevskis is currently the Lead Data Scientist at Evolution, where they focus on big data technologies and machine learning. With experience as a Data Service Developer at Evolution and a Data Scientist at Tele2 Shared Service Center, Janis has a solid background in Scala, Python, and data processing techniques. Previously, as a postdoctoral research associate at Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Saint Etienne, Janis specialized in optimization of noisy functions and developed the krisp package for Scilab. Janis has also worked as a docent at Riga Technical University, teaching numerical methods and conducting research in statistical methods. They hold multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's in Software Engineering.
