Lachezar Yankov is an experienced software professional with a diverse background in leading tech teams, backend development, and project management. Currently serving as the Lead Backend Developer at Evolution while simultaneously managing remote tech teams at Yankov Software AB, Lachezar excels in delivering software solutions for businesses. With a strong foundation established as Co-Owner of Finatech Bulgaria and a history of co-founding Finatech AB, Lachezar has significantly contributed to the insurance and financial sectors through modern technical implementations. Previous roles include Technical Lead at Rocker and Senior Software Engineer at various companies, showcasing extensive expertise in languages such as Scala, Python, and Elixir, alongside cloud and microservices architecture. Lachezar holds a Master of Science in Embedded Systems from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski.
