Shane Egan

Shane Egan is an experienced tax professional with a strong background in indirect tax management. Currently serving as an Indirect Tax Manager at Evolution since January 2021, Shane previously held the same title at Deloitte Ireland from September 2014 to December 2019, along with roles as Assistant Manager and Tax Assistant. Shane's specialist experience includes working as a Tax Accountant on secondment at Airbnb and as EMEA Indirect Tax Manager on secondment at Twitter. Prior to this, an Audit Intern role at KPMG Ireland focused on audits within the financial services sector. Educational credentials include an Associate Chartered Accountant designation from Chartered Accountants Ireland, a Chartered Tax Advisor qualification from the Irish Tax Institute, a Master’s Degree in Accounting from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin, along with an international exchange experience at The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
