Elie Celnikier

Elie Celnikier has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and machine learning. They started their career at CNRS - Centre national de la recherche scientifique as a Research Assistant in 2018. In 2019, Elie worked as a Machine Learning engineer at Neurotech@Berkeley before joining Evolution Devices. At Evolution Devices, Elie held multiple roles, starting as a Machine Learning Researcher intern in 2019. They applied machine learning and deep learning techniques to analyze kinematics data for creating real-time models. Elie then progressed to the role of Junior Machine Learning Engineer in 2020 and subsequently became Head of Data Science in 2023. In their current position, Elie is responsible for developing proprietary statistical models for gait metrics estimation and leading the development of a computer vision pipeline for human pose estimation.

Elie Celnikier completed a Master of Engineering degree in Computational Biology and Machine Learning from UC Berkeley College of Engineering in 2020. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2020, they pursued a combined BSc and MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering & Computer Science from Arts et Métiers ParisTech - École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers. Elie'seducational journey began in 2015 when they attended Lycée Saint Louis for a preparatory program for Grandes Écoles, though no specific degree was mentioned for this period.
