Andrew Horvat

Andrew Horvat has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Project Executive for the Mount Rawdon Pumped Hydro Project at Evolution Mining since September 2022. Prior to this role, Andrew spent nearly three decades at Rio Tinto, where positions included EGM Energy and Joint Ventures, EGM Technical Services and Energy, General Manager Energy, and General Manager Gladstone Power Station & Energy, among others. Additional leadership roles include Chair/Director at Boyne Smelters Limited and New Zealand's Aluminium Smelter, and director positions at Tomago Aluminium and Queensland Alumina Limited. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Melbourne and has completed training at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
