Ben Young is an accomplished mining professional with extensive experience in various management and technical roles within the industry. Currently serving as General Manager at Evolution Mining since March 2020, Ben has held positions such as Mining Manager and Technical Services Superintendent. Prior to this, Ben worked at Mount Isa Mines from April 2014 to March 2020, where positions included Mine Services Superintendent and UG Manager - Lady Loretta. Ben's earlier career includes roles at Glencore Zinc and Xstrata Zinc, where Ben advanced from Project Geologist to Technical Services Manager. Ben holds a Graduate Diploma in Mining and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology from Federation University Australia, complemented by foundational education at Ballarat Grammar School.
