Blake Talbot is a seasoned mining engineer with extensive experience in various roles within the mining industry. Beginning as an Underground Coal Miner at BOLT UP MINING PTY LTD from 2011 to 2013, Blake progressed to positions including Mining Engineer at Glencore's Ernest Henry Mine and later served as a Mining Engineer at Capricorn Copper. After a short stint as a Mine Planning Engineer with Newmont Australia, both in short-term and long-term planning roles, Blake took on acting leadership positions before becoming a Principal Mining Consultant for Underground Metals at Micromine in 2024. Currently, Blake holds the title of Senior Mine Planning Engineer for North America at Evolution Mining. Blake holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Wollongong and a bachelor's degree in Engineering from the University of Newcastle's Mining Transfer Program.
