Brooke Plunkett

Brooke Plunkett is currently the Communications and Engagement Superintendent at Evolution Mining - Northparkes, where they focus on fostering a culture of engagement and leadership within the organization. Brooke began their career as a journalist before transitioning into mining and community affairs, accumulating experience in marketing, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management. They co-founded Kusoma's Promise, a charity aimed at providing educational opportunities for children in a remote village in Uganda, supporting nearly 200 children globally. Additionally, Brooke was recognized with the 2019 NSW Exceptional Young Woman in Mining Award for their contributions to the industry. They hold a Master's degree in Dispute Resolution and Human Resources Development from Charles Sturt University and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Newcastle.
