Byron Bezuidenhout is currently a Senior Mineralogist at Evolution Mining, where they are gaining valuable mineral processing experience through collaborations across mining operations. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of the Mineralogy Department at SGS from 2021 to 2024, providing analytical support to numerous clients. Byron's earlier experience includes working as a Mineralogy Analyst at Anglo American, where they utilized advanced instrumentation for various commodities. They also managed a multimillion rand retail store for Cotton On Group from 2015 to 2017. Byron studied geography and geology at the University of Johannesburg, where they completed an Honours program in 2011.
