Damon Symons is a seasoned geologist with extensive experience in various roles within the mining sector. Currently serving as a Senior Resource Geologist at Evolution Mining since September 2025, Damon previously worked at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited from February 2021 to September 2025 in multiple capacities including Resource Geologist and Project Geologist, focusing on grade control model generation and geological management. Prior roles include Underground Mine Geologist positions at Silver Lake Resources and GOLD FIELDS, where expertise in hard rock and gold deposit types was developed. Damon began as a Graduate Exploration Geologist at MacPhersons Resources Ltd in 2017 and also gained early experience as a survey intern and underground vacation student.
