Matt Dunkerley

Matt Dunkerley is an experienced health and safety professional with a robust background in occupational health and hygiene, having worked in various roles in the mining and exploration sectors. Prior to current academic pursuits in Environment and Sustainability at the University of Newcastle, Matt held prominent positions at companies such as Silver Lake Resources, Evolution Mining, Topdrill, and Kimberley Ports Authority, where responsibilities ranged from health and safety officer to superintendent and HSER manager. Matt possesses a Bachelor of Science in Medical Science, a Postgraduate Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and certifications as a Lead Auditor for OHS Management Systems ISO 45001 and ISO 19011.
