Matt O'Neill is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the mining and energy sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Evolution Mining since June 2024, O'Neill previously held the role of Chief Executive Officer at All Energy Contracting from July 2023 to February 2025. A significant portion of O'Neill's career was spent at Glencore from 2013 to 2023, where roles included Chief Operating Officer, Chief Mining Officer, and General Manager. Earlier experience includes positions at Xstrata, where O'Neill served as Infrastructure Manager and Engineering and Asset Manager from January 2008 to 2013. O'Neill holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Queensland and a Master of Business Administration with focuses on Project Management and International Business from the University of Southern Queensland.
