Matt O'Neill

Matt O'Neill is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the mining and energy sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Evolution Mining since June 2024, O'Neill previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at All Energy Contracting from July 2023 to February 2025. A long tenure at Glencore from January 2013 to December 2023 included roles as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Mining Officer, and General Manager. Prior experience at Xstrata involved positions as Infrastructure Manager and Engineering and Asset Manager from January 2008 to December 2013. O'Neill holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Queensland and a Master of Business Administration with specializations in Project Management and International Business from the University of Southern Queensland.
