Paul Couto

Paul Couto is a Superintendent Geotechnical Engineer with extensive experience in the mining industry, particularly in geotechnical and rock mechanics. Throughout their career, Paul has worked in both African and Australian mining sectors, focusing on hard rock underground and surface mining from pre-feasibility to operational stages. They have held positions such as Rock Engineering Manager at Brentley, Lucas and Associates and Rock Engineer at Northam Platinum. Paul Couto is currently employed at Evolution Mining and has earned multiple degrees, including an M.Sc. in Applied Science Mining from the University of Pretoria.
