Ryan Cronin

Ryan Cronin is an experienced mining professional with a robust background in operations and management, currently serving as Superintendent - Mine Closure at Evolution Mining since June 2018. Prior roles at Evolution Mining include Superintendent - Mining Services, Mining Production Coordinator, Superintendent Mining Operations, and Production Supervisor. From January 2013 to June 2018, Ryan held multiple positions at Thiess, including Production Supervisor, where responsibilities encompassed leading large crews for the efficient operation of ultra-class mining fleets. Earlier experience includes roles at Golding as a Production Excavator Operator and at Mosley Mining & Excavations as a Dump Truck Operator/Excavator. Ryan's career commenced at Baldwin Plumbing & Contracting as an Apprentice, Trade Qualified Plumber & Drainer, and Civil Operator. Ryan is a graduate of Bundaberg State High, completing year 12 in 2006.
