Tim Purvis

Tim Purvis is an experienced mining professional with a career spanning over two decades in various engineering and superintendent roles. Currently serving as Superintendent - Technical Services at Evolution Mining since April 2022, Tim has previously held positions including Mine Superintendent at Capricorn Copper Mining and Underground Production Engineer at Glencore, where responsibilities encompassed drill and blast designs and production scheduling. Prior experience includes leadership roles at Xstrata Copper, overseeing underground systems and decline development, along with positions at BHP Billiton as Principal Engineer and in earlier roles at Saint-Gobain Building Distribution and Perilya. Tim holds a Master's degree in Mineral and Energy Economics from Macquarie University and a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the University of South Australia.
