William Draffen is an experienced professional in engineering and asset management, currently serving as the Engineering & Asset Management Superintendent at Evolution Mining since January 2022. Previously, William held multiple roles at Glencore Copper from January 2018 to January 2022, including Superintendent - Underground Mechanical Fixed Plant and Senior Mechanical Engineer. Prior to this, William worked as a Project Engineer at SPD Construction Pty Ltd and as a Mechanical Engineer at WorleyParsons. William's career began with student roles as a Mechanical Engineer at Xstrata Copper. William holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from James Cook University, earned between 2005 and 2009.
