Barry Bloomer

Barry Bloomer started their work experience in 1987 as the Manufacturing and Quality Director at Philips, where they were responsible for the manufacture of 13 million products per year. Barry then joined Black & Decker in 1995 as the European Supply Chain Director, where they had full P&L responsibility for multi-site operations in the UK, Italy, and the Czech Republic. At Black & Decker, they achieved significant cost reductions and implemented 6 sigma techniques. In 2005, Bloomer became the CEO of Thorntons and successfully handled the sale of the company to Ferrero for £120 million. Barry was also responsible for integrating Thorntons into the Ferrero UK business and implemented reorganization and restructuring measures that resulted in significant savings. Most recently, they joined Evolution Power Tools in 2017 as the Group CEO and also served as the Supply Chain and Procurement Director.

Barry Bloomer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with Business studies from The University of Sheffield.
