Will Barnes, CSP has a diverse and extensive work experience in health, safety, security, and environment (HSSE) roles within the energy and manufacturing industries. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Health, Safety, and Environment at Evolution Well Services, where they began in July 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Nine Energy Service, where they held various senior management positions including Vice President of HSSE from 2020 to 2021, Director of HSSE from 2018 to 2020, and Sr. Corporate HS&E Manager from 2017 to 2018.

Before joining Nine Energy Service, Barnes worked at Weir Oil and Gas as the Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental Manager for Wellhead manufacturing and service facilities in the United States and Canada. Their career in HSSE began at Pilgrim's Pride, where they worked as a Health, Safety, and Environmental Foreman.

Will Barnes, CSP, has a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Environmental Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University, which they completed in 2012. In 2006, they obtained an AAS OSHT (Occupational Health and Safety Technology) degree from Texas State Technical College. Currently, they are enrolled in Columbia Southern University's Master of Science program in Organizational Leadership.

Will Barnes also holds additional certifications and training in various areas. Will achieved the STS (Safety Trained Supervisor) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in April 2019. Will also has a 30 Hour OSHA Construction Certification and a 30 Hour OSHA General Industry Certification from OSHA Courses.
