Zhen Lu

Zhen Lu is an accomplished Senior Machine Learning Engineer currently employed at EvolutionIQ since January 2023. Previously, Zhen served as a Data Scientist at Thrasio from March 2020 to December 2022, where significant contributions included the development of a Dash App that streamlined the processing of raw Amazon transactions, resulting in savings exceeding $10 million, and enhancing demand forecasting accuracy by 50% MAPE through ensemble methods. Zhen began a career as a Machine Learning Engineer at Magnifi from July 2018 to January 2020, where a financial search engine was built from the ground up, and a language understanding system was designed, achieving a query relevance rate above 95%. Zhen holds a Master’s degree in Business Analytics from Fordham Gabelli School of Business and a Bachelor’s degree in International Economics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, with additional experience as an exchange student in Finance at the University of California, Berkeley.
