Andrea Rizzo is currently working as an MPhil/PhD student and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Early Stage Researcher on the CC-TOP Project at UCL and Johnson Matthey. Prior to this, Andrea was an Erasmus Master's degree student at University College Cork from October 2020 to August 2021.

Andrea Rizzo completed a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnologies at Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca from 2016 to 2019. From 2019 to 2021, Andrea pursued a Master's degree in Industrial Biotechnologies at the same institution.
