Brian Neill

Brian Neill has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 1999. Brian began their career at Certicom Corp. as a Security Software Developer in the Professional Services department and then moved to Product Manager. In 2010, they joined BlackBerry as Manager of Platform Security, where they managed the security feature set of BlackBerry 10 devices and led a team of technically specialized product managers. Brian was also responsible for scoping out market requirements for security. In 2014, they joined Infosec Global as Director of Product Management and the University of Waterloo as an Associate for the Institute for Quantum Computing. Most recently, in 2018, they became Vice President of evolutionQ.

Brian Neill obtained their B.Math in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo between 1994 and 1999. In March 2000, they obtained their Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2.org. In January 2006, they obtained their Pragmatic Marketing Certified from Pragmatic Marketing. Finally, in April 2011, they obtained their Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) from ISC2.org.
