Michele Mosca is a prominent figure in the field of quantum computing, serving as Co-Founder, President, and CEO of evolutionQ since January 2015, and as Co-Founder of softwareQ Inc. since 2017. As a Co-Founder and Professor at the Institute for Quantum Computing since its establishment in 2002, Michele also played a pivotal role in founding the Quantum Computing group at the University of Waterloo in 1999. Additional roles include Deputy Director at the Perimeter Institute and Associate Faculty at the University of Waterloo, where Michele has been a Professor in the Department of Combinatorics & Optimization since 1999. Educational qualifications include a D.Phil. in Mathematics with a focus on Quantum Computer Algorithms from the University of Oxford, alongside an MSc in Mathematics and the Foundations of Computer Science, and a B.Math. in Pure Mathematics and Combinatorics & Optimization from the University of Waterloo.
