Peter Vittands

Peter Vittands has been working in the field of cybersecurity for over 15 years. Peter is currently the Vice President of Cybersecurity and IT at Evolv Technology. Prior to their current position, they were the Leader of Global Information Security at New Balance from October 2015 to March 2022. In this role, they reported to the Board and Senior Leadership on the global security and risk program. Peter was also responsible for increasing awareness of security risks and threats and working with all levels of the business on security education.

Before their time at New Balance, Peter worked as the Sr. Manager of InfoSec Unified Products Saas at RSA, The Security Division of EMC from April 2015 to October 2015. In this role, they were responsible for the security of hosted and cloud-based platforms at RSA. Peter led operations spanning the US, EU, and Middle East and managed a team of security professionals protecting customer sensitive data. Peter also implemented best in class security operations for the SaaS product environment.

Peter has a wealth of experience in cybersecurity and is an expert in secure digital transformation. Peter is a dedicated professional who is committed to keeping businesses and consumers safe from cyber threats.

Peter Vittands has a bachelors in IT Global Networks and Telecommunications from Champlain College. Peter also has a certification from (ISC)2 in Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). In addition, they have certifications from GIAC in GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) and GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN). Finally, they have a certification from the PCI Security Standards Council in PCI - Internal Security Assessor.
