Rick Couto

Rick Couto is an experienced executive with a robust background in manufacturing and operations. Currently serving as VP of Manufacturing Operations at Evolv Technology since August 2018, Couto previously held the role of VP of Operations at SciAps Inc. from June 2017 to August 2018. Additional experience includes a consulting role focused on operations and engineering scale-up from January 2012 to December 2017, and significant positions at Innov-X Systems, Brooks Automation, Biokinetics, Advanced BioSystems Corp., Sepracor, and Millipore Corporation. Couto co-founded Advanced BioSystems, contributing to the development and licensing of nutraceutical products and the design of biopharma pilot plants. Educational credentials include an MBA from Northeastern University and a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
