Norbert Bender

Norbert Bender has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Norbert started their career in 1997 at Knoll Germany, where they served as Head Clinical Research Europe until 2002. Norbert then joined Cardion AG as CMO from 2001 to 2003. From 2003 to 2007, Norbert worked at PRA International and served as Managing Director, first in Germany and later in the Mannheim office. Norbert then moved on to The Vaccines Company as SVP Development from 2007 to 2008. Norbert then held the position of CMO at Trigen GmbH from 2008 to 2009 before joining ViroLogik GmbH as CDO from 2009 to 2011. Currently, Norbert is working at Evolva SA since 2011, where they hold the role of CMO.

Norbert Bender earned an MD./PhD degree in Biochemistry and Medicine from Goethe University Frankfurt, completing their studies between 1972 and 1983.
