Scott Foster has worked in various roles since 1984. Scott began their career at Midland Cycle Center (Yamaha Shop) as a Sales/Service, where they worked in the family business motorcycle shop. In 1998, they moved to AT&T as an Account Executive. In 2008, they became the Past President of the Austin Association of Information Technology Professionals, promoting and leading the Austin AITP. In 2013, they started at USFon Inc. as a Community Project Coordinator, working with rural communities offering various backhaul and voice product services. That same year, they also began working at Evolve Cellular as the VP Network Operations, working on various projects. Lastly, they are a Founding Partner of Austin Networking Associates since 1996, where they have re-tooled Austin Networking 1.0 to roll out 2.0, executed the product strategy plan for their Joint Architectural Design product, and built the solutions practice as a Juniper Networks Partner with Elite Status.

Scott Foster completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General at The University of Texas Permian Basin from 1986 to 1991. Prior to that, they attended Midland College from 1986 to 1988, studying Architecture. Scott began their educational journey at Robert E Lee High School from 1984 to 1986.
