Benjamin Markus

Benjamin Markus has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Benjamin started their career in 1999 as an Assistant Manager at CompUSA and worked there until 2007. Following that, they joined Comcast Cable as a Field Technician and worked there for six years. In 2013, Benjamin worked as a Field Engineer at Endeavor Telecom where they planned, prepared, programmed, and installed security equipment for ATT Digital Life. Later that year, they became a Customer Engineer at NCR Corporation and worked there until 2015. From 2015 to 2019, Benjamin worked at Advanced Integrated Technologies as both a Voice and Data Network Engineer and a Network Design Engineer. Benjamin'sresponsibilities included designing, building, installing, and supporting IP PBX equipment, Adtran, Cisco, and Edgemarc equipment, as well as providing tier 2 & 3 support. Currently, Benjamin Markus works as a Senior UC Implementation Engineer at Evolve IP since 2019.

Benjamin Markus attended Dunwoody College of Technology from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology. In 2002, they also attended Hennepin Technical College and received a Certificate in Computer Science.

In terms of additional certifications, Benjamin obtained the MTCNA and MTCRE certifications from Baltic Networks in June of 2017. Benjamin also obtained the Cisco Certified Technician Routing and Switching certification from Cisco in August 2014.
