Joe Sferrazza

Joe Sferrazza has a diverse work experience. Joe is currently serving as the Head of Mobile Design & Development at Evolve Service Software since February 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Lead iOS Developer at the same company since January 2015.

In addition to their roles at Evolve Service Software, Joe has also built iOS and Revit add-ins in their spare time through their company, Apps by Joe Sferrazza, since March 2010. Some of their add-ins continue to thrive on the Apple App Store.

Joe also has experience as an Instructor at Central Piedmont Community College, where they worked from August 2012 to August 2015. Joe was responsible for teaching and imparting knowledge in their field.

Previously, Joe worked as an iOS Developer at Sunbelt Rentals from August 2013 to January 2015. Joe designed, developed, and maintained internal iOS applications while adhering to coding standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Before that, Joe was a Software Developer/BIM Specialist at Carolinas Healthcare System from September 2010 to August 2013. Joe developed Revit add-ins using C# to streamline internal workflows and created tools to automate repetitive tasks for architects and engineers within the organization.

Prior to joining Carolinas Healthcare System, Joe worked as a BIM Specialist at Lake Architectural from May 2008 to September 2010.

Joe began their career as an Architectural Drafter at Nicholas A Vero, Architect from May 2005 to May 2008.

Throughout their work experience, Joe has demonstrated expertise in mobile design and development, iOS programming, Revit add-ins, and teaching.

Joe Sferrazza earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the State University of New York Cortland from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued Computer Information Technology at Southern New Hampshire University in 2001-2002. In addition to their formal education, Joe also obtained various certifications, including Apple Search Ads Certified in 2024, iOS & Objective-C in 2015, Autodesk Revit 2013 Certified Professional in 2012, Autodesk Revit 2012 Certified Associate in 2011, and Autodesk Revit 2012 Certified Professional in 2011.
