Jay Fine

President of Research & Development at EvolveImmune Therapeutics

Jay brings over 30 years of drug discovery and development experience, including strong strategic leadership in discovery research, translational sciences and biomarker research covering immunology, inflammatory diseases and tissue fibrosis.

Prior to joining EvolveImmune, Jay was the Senior Vice President and Global Therapeutic Area Head for Immunology & Respiratory Diseases Research at Boehringer Ingelheim, as well as the US Discovery Research Site Head at their Ridgefield, CT headquarters. Jay’s teams played seminal roles in the advancement of Skyrizi™ and in the discovery and development of spesolimab, and delivered over 25 molecules into clinical development.

Previously, Jay held positions of increasing responsibility at Roche, Schering-Plough and the National Cancer Institute. He received his BS degree from Cornell University and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Rochester Medical Center. He is the author of over 75 scientific publications and patents, and has received numerous honors and awards throughout his career.
